Lighting upgrades

Hello
I am looking for some lighting upgrades foe my 2016 F-150 Platinum. I recently saw a truck with a small light bar about the length of the width of the rear license plate location. Are ther replacement lights for the actual license plate that are brighter? Same for reverse lights and fog lights are ther replacements that are brighter. I looking to improve the lighting for use with the backup camera.

Thanks

Just an fyi......1) make sure whatever you choose is DOT approved...most of the aftermarket isn't and 2) remember, DOT regs prohibit more than 6 forward facing lights on the front of a vehicle........meaning if you get one of those X-number of LED strip light bars it will give your local law a great reason to ticket and/or impound the truck. Definitely need to check with local law enforcement on this IMHO if it's a street used truck.

The reverse and fog lamps can be done easily enough, and there are replacement bulb for the ones that fit the factory plate lamps as well that are brighter too.

Just recieived my light but have not installed them. Was wondering for the fog light what is the color of the light? On the box it says they are 3000k, which looks a yellowish, I was hoping to get a fog light that was more white like the headlights of the new F-150.

Thanks

They all come in 6500k cool white color. You can optionally use yellow filters if you would prefer a strong yellow color, but very few people are looking to do that.

Hey I got the Fog lights and license plate lights installed with no problem but I am having a problem with the reverse lights. I do not know how to remove the light bulb from the rear light housing. I have a 2016 Platinum with the blindspot radar.

Thanks

Looks like you have the LED head lamps on your truck there, which means the reverse lights in the tail lamps are already LED as well. Those can not be swapped out like incandescent type bulbs unfortunately. You are more than welcome to return those reverse bulbs. Please shoot us an email with your order number in reference, sales@retro-solutions.com
