Rear axle code help

Apparently I'm one of the few lucky ones who bought a truck with the ID tag still on the axle. I found a site that tells me most of the info. But I can't tell if this is an open or Trac-Lok differential. Code reads as follows.
WDM-AG1 4FA
3.00 9 344A
This is on a 74 F100 2WD. Any help is appreciated.

Code reads as follows: WDM-AG1 / 4FA / 3.00 / 9

This is on a 74 F100 2WD.
WDM-AG1 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.00-1 / No Limited Slip / 31 spline axle shafts.

4FA = Assembled the first week (A) of June (F), 1974 (4).

So my suspicions were correct. I've got a peg leg. Thanks for the help!

Another quick and dirty way to tell is to jack up under the diff, put in neutral, and spin a tire. If the opposite side spins in an opposite direction, it's open; if it spins the same direction it's locked or has a functioning limited slip.

I was preparing to do just that when I noticed the tag buried under years of dirt.
