Lower latch
I find a lot of threads on the cable end repair for the rear doors but nothing about how to undo a latch that the cable has come undone from. I have a 2003 F350 and I ordered the new cable ends to repair my rear doors, however when I pulled on the lower cable, it came undone from the latch. I can't figure out how to operate the latch itself with no cable. All help is appreciated. Thank you.

I had to remove the door panel on my buddies truck to get at it. (Lower latch) You may need to remove the seat too. The latch was frozen hard. PB Blasted the sheet out of it and tapped on the release for an hour before it let go. Not fun at all. We replaced his lower latch as well. Coated it with LP3 after installation.
