Stakebed

Thanks, where did you get your stakebed. Our bed is toast and we are thinking of putting a flat bed on it. The wheel base is different on a 4x4 and finding a good bed at a decent price is difficult and we have seen some flat beds that look good.

the ford script stakebed was the original factory one, I have seen some occasionally on ksl etc. I found a nice 8 foot one for my 51 f2 4x4 project a few years back. sometimes you have to buy the entire truck to get one. of course there are much newer/more modern looking stakebeds out there that would look great on your 65

I thought it was a 289 it’s actually a 352 and it was seized.

Lol. Not quite dead yet. Just not super active lol. What's everyone up to? Just got in an accident in my 62 f250 on i15 a few weeks ago. Some jerk hit rear drivers side causing me to do a 180 ending up in the shoulder. Luckily me and the wife are OK and the truck just had a messed up bumper and tailgate and brakes. Getting those repaired at a hot rod shop and paying to get a 4 barrel intake and carb I've had sitting around installed and my 292 Y block. Excited to get it back!
