Traction bars

So as I sit and wait for my truck I have question on traction bars. The truck is a F350 CC SB SRW 6.7. I do plan to do a 6" lift and 36" tires on the truck once it is here. I know traction bars are not part of the kit I want from Fabtech. Also, I must say I really dislike the look of traction bars on a lifted truck. Never have liked them, just a personal preference. I am curious whether I really do need to get them for reliability of the truck? This truck is my daily driver, use if for farming and personal use. I don't drag race or go to the track at all. I tow some, but not real heavy. Maybe a couple times a year and would be surprised if total trailer weight was close to 10,000 lbs. I do plan to do some tuning, but not planning any crazy HP levels. No compound turbos or fuel system upgrades. Just want to make sure the truck will be a reliable, comfortable daily driver without traction bars since I don't like the look. Or do I absolutely have to have them? Thanks for the help guys.

Traction Bars??? Why? If Fabtech thought they were necessary with their lift kit then they would design, mfg. and include them. I've had 3 Superduty diesels, never had traction bars and never needed them.

Yes please elaborate on why they are not good? Who makes a better 6" lift kit that I should consider? I was wanting to do the Fabtech 6" 4 link with coil replacements and steering stabilizers. Thinking Dirt Logic resi shocks all the way around. Not a good idea?

PMF for the lift, Fox shocks and OUO for the bars. Some of the best around.

You will only need traction bars if your truck has wheelhop. If it has wheelhop stock, it usually gets worse when lifted. If your truck hasn't got wheelhop then don't worry about it. Some dutys have horrible wheelhop and others have none!

PMF 3.5" Alpha lift. If you plan on adding any power traction bars are absolutely needed!!

Don't do traction bars unless you're sure you NEED them. Traction bars will help reduce/eliminate rear wheel hop BUT they affect the rear suspension changing the range of motion because of the traction bars' pivot point(s).

If you don't like the look that's another great reason not to get them unless the wheel hop is bad and you want to stop it.
