Why is so hard for you guys to believe other people?????? If you haven't had the update done then you have no idea what your talking about. It's all just your opinion. None of you are experts in theses trucks. You just own them just like I do. If I get the update or whatever it is I will be the judge as to what it does to the truck or what it doesn't do. Maybe Ford is doing it quietly and slowly before it fully announces it.
You could be ahead of an announcement, and of course there is a possibility that it's a soft introduction. TWT, and even the guys who doubted this are surely hoping this is correct, so no worries, let's keep our fingers crossed.

Sure, anything is possible and hoping I'm wrong for sure.
Only way to find out is with the IDS I believe... Damn I wished I would had took a picture of all the updates listed before he installed them.
I was just glad that there was the updates he spoke of and he clicked install before I really thought about it.

I agree, don't even think about saying you like a 5.0 better then the eco!! Hahaha
I just PM'd Curtis who has access to the Ford systems. He said, "There's nothing in PTS or FMCDealer that says anything about a calibration for a power increase. There's plenty of updates for various DTC's and whatnot, the usual stuff." Not saying that's the final word but if there's something there, it must be hidden, even to those with access to the systems.
You guys that have access to even talk to your technicians are lucky, at our dealers we cant get past the service writers area, it is against "Insurance rules"
I had a 2011 truck and went through the Upgrade from 390 HP to 400 HP. Ford made a BIG deal out of adding those 10 added horse power. If there is an upgrade to HP, I'm sure Ford would tell the world. It's not going to be a secret roll out.

Only 10 HP but 65 lb-ft which was a much bigger part of the increase...
Our fords are still ridiculously powerful in stock form. No need for power upgrade but wouldn't tell the tech to not install it. A little more torque for my 37inch tires would be nice

Like all of us you have a butt dyno, but its just an opinion not fact.
