Bought 2017 SRW 350. Truck had 59 miles on it when delivered. The truck has had a vibration since delivery. Two sets of tires and road force balancing and the truck still vibrates above 70 mph. The ford rep says all f350s vibrate. I don't care if ford won't step up to the plate, I'm just desperate for a solution. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Sorry to hear.... I have zero vibration, but our hiways are smooth
I basically got fed up with my 2012 vibrating (that's why I have a 2017 now!)
It was horrible vibration on the same roads above 60. Two balances and a road force. Nothing helped
Now I am almost positive it was the shocks.
If you're going to toss money into figuring it out. I say get better shocks.
I've read other complaints about this, with no dealer fix. It's a pain, but if you could find a friends or someone's take off's, even if they are off of an older SD, and see if a new set of wheels/tires fixes it. Any vibration I ever experienced was tire related.
Could it be wheel runout. Ford did their final repair attempt. Didn't fix it but like he said,"all 350's. vibrate
Who's "he?" There is no "final attempt" until something is fixed. Try another dealer. I've owned many 350's. None have vibrated. If you can't get help there, contact the Ford rep here on FTE under the username FordService. They will kick it up the line.
Thank you. I was hoping the dealer would swap out a set from a truck on the lot but it didn't happen. Not sure where to start throwing money at it. Thinking of putting it up on a lift and spinning it up to see what kind of vibe I get out of it. Any caution other than falling off the lift? Thanks
I hope I don't sound like I'm crying, but I'm close. Dealer told me nothing they could do. Notified ford of final repair attempt under lemon law because nobody would help. Lost my case as a vibrating truck is not a nonconformity. Ford rep claims they all vibrate and that it is within limits. After spending 60 grand I'm really depressed but, never had to sleep under a bridge and never missed a meal so, I'm blessed. Thanks for your reply
OP- maybe you can chat with this guy, he has been dealing w/vibration and the dealers inability to fix it:

vibration/shutter at 20mph, 45mph, 60mph
Just joining this thread, I ordered a 2017 f250 with 4.30 gears with this new g transmission. I traded in my 2016 f250 6.7l 20,000 miles with multiple issues (one being the 45mph rear end hop) to get rid of it and now I regret it. I have less than 1800 miles and it has been in the dealership 6 times, 2 different dealerships with a vibration issue. 68mph is the worst vibration. It has a vibration/shutter at 20mph, 45mph, 60mph. It bumps into gear when stopping occassional. One dealership keeps saying bad tires. Tires have been replaced twice already, no change. A ford engineer inspected the truck and used a digital vibration analyzer and stated tires. The dealer tried to approve another brand of tires other than continental and ford said no. Set number 3 is going on today or tommorrow. Dealer number two felt the vibration and did not thinlk it was tires since they had already been replaced. I really like the truck but am beginning to hate it. I will not recommended this combo to anyone. I actually can't recommend ford trucks to anyone at this point. Spend the extra and get the f350 with the old tranny. Looking at f150 transmission issue from multiple sites, this g transmission seems to be a beefed up f150 tranny with all the same issues. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...mph-60mph.html

Fords final fix, doesn't fix the problem, but they (Ford) has the answer? "All brand new 2017 Super Duty's F-350's VIBRATE".
Simply NOT TRUE! I've ridden in some that rode as smooth as butter, now they weren't 2017's.
Another member went round and round with a Ford Dealer on a new Ford, turned out to be the tires, he put his old takeoffs on his brand new truck, that fixed the issue. It may have been an F-150, not certain.
