Help Me Out Just A Bit.....

I've had my truck just about a month, and today I opened the glove box for the first time... yeah, I know.

Anyhow, in the glove box is a plastic bag with some plugs/fittings. The bag was labeled; "TAILGATE DELETE CAP/KIT" - WTH is it?

The cap covers the tailgate wire connectors to keep water and dirt out if you remove the tailgate.

It's to cover and protect the camera and light connections when you take your tailgate off, like for a slide in camper.
