2003 Explorer hard shifting

2003 Explorer hard shifting
My wife's 2003 Explorer 4x4 4.6 auto 3.73 gears with only 7000 miles on it seems to shift really hard when shifting into reverse. It doesn't seem normal to me, but the dealership said that they checked it out, and everything is fine.
Anybody have any similar experiences?
