engine idles very high at startup
hey guys, i've got a 1991 f150 supercab, 5.0 ,aod,213,000 mi.
on startup the engine immediately races to about 3000 rpm's. it takes maybe 20 - 30 seconds for the idle to drop back down. any ideas??

3k? Cold start is supposed to have a high initial run. My 93 runs to about 2k, and then idles down a bout 30 sec later. That is normal.
