Engine swap

Hey guys,
I have an '89 150 4wd with a 302.My poor tired old truck has well over 200,000 miles and is still running great. I am thinking of swapping the engine to a 351 W, built by a Winston Cup Engine builder. He has torn the engine down and has it ready to go back together. He will built it to my needs. As I have never made a swap like this I am wondering if it is worth the trouble. Will any of my stuff work back? Bell housing,starter,mounts.....that kind of thing.
I really dont want to pass this engine up. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,
Leaky

Engine swap

I am not an expert on this, but since no one else has replied....I believe this would be a direct bolt up swap!

It will bolt to the transmission w/o trouble, and the starter and serpentine belt system will work okay. You would have to get a new computer and distributor and use Mass Air components. Since your '89 has 3 fuel pumps, you might just want to yank the high pressure pump and run a 4bbl instead. It would be about 1/2 the cost of the new MA system.
