I removed my vacuum wiper motor and cable assembly today. Removed the cable and hooked up a vacuum line to the motor connected to a shop vac. Motor works!
Problem is the control cable is seized. Is there a promising way to free it up? Right now I have it dangling in a bucket full of used oil hoping it frees up. I did a quick search and didn't really see a replacement. My 2nd option is replace the original control with a choke cable which I would be able to make work.

Vacuum wiper motor cable and switch is a one piece assembly. 1951/52 is different than 1948/50.
I do have one, and it turns freely -- with pliers. One of the two tangs that the **** slides onto is broken off... so I think your better bet is to get a new one. If you want to try transplanting parts from yours to mine, email me.
