Sending unit
I posted this question in my build thread but am putting it here for guys that don't want to dig through that one. I have a 73 super camper special that needs sending units. I ordered a bronco ii one for the at axle tank. My question is are the mid ship tanks standard as in can I get a regular sender from the parts stores just giving the year and model. Thanks

The mid gas tank I have not found in a parts store. There is another thread not to far back talking about mid gas tank sending unit. Jeff's bronco graveyard and npd. Are the places guys are saying to go. As for the rear I also have a super camper. Keep posted with pics on the bronco sending unit. I have been needing to look into that

Not yet. The tube is stainless and I don't want to mess it up. I started to bend it at the hose connection but felt like it was gonna kink. I started a few other things but tomorrow I will be bending it. I think I am going to have to heat it.

Also, I bent the top spout as much as I was comfortable with. I am going to modify the cross member if I have to for clearance. I was against the terminals with the bender and didn't want to push on them.

Fit great, had to make two new keyways for the positioning ears but overall I think it is the best substitute you can find. The terminals and tube are opposite of the original so I will probably have to cut the cross member.
