Since I'm using Torque Pro on a tablet for monitoring, I was thinking it there's got to be a backup camera that will connect to my tablet via bluetooth. Been searching but haven't found one yet. Any other ideas to add a backup camera and display it on my tablet?
You should be able to find the correct OS flavor for your tablet.
Yeah none of those are really a bluetooth camera that works directly with a tablet. I've done that search. Some come with monitors and are wifi, etc. etc. Wifi ones are too bulky to mount without it being obvious (and get ripped of), and the consensus seem to be they don't update the image quickly enough to be useful. Some of those in the search are actually wired.
Get one of there reps on the phone and see if they don't have something that will work for your project.
What OS does the tablet have? Android or iOS? If I know I can try and see if my Supplier for the
diagnostics tools has something that they will let me get one of.
Android. It's seems as if the technology is just being explored and there are a few out but don't work all that well. Probably not worth the r&d since new vehicles have backup cameras. I just need something to help hook up the travel trailer
