Was wondering if all my accessories from my 97 7.3 powerstroke will bolt onto a 2000 7.3 international motor out of a school bus. It has the port for the mechanical fuel pump.
The "port" for the mechanical fuel pump isn't what's important. Is there a LOBE on the camshaft for it? If not, it's e-fuel time.
As far as the accessories go, you're probably looking at bolting on the whole accessory bracket(s) from the '97 onto the donor engine. Then you just have to make sure the water pump and crankshaft pulleys are compatible. Does the donor have the IH water pump with the built-in filter? Bonus if so, but you may have to improvise wrt radiator hoses.
Then I'm nearly certain that your mechanical pump will not work. When they switched to the electric pump they stopped putting the lobe on the cam for the mechanical pump. You will either need to swap your OBS cam over or run efuel. I'd go with the efuel, it can be done fairly cheap if you do all the work yourself and shop around for the best prices.
