Front Springs

Does anyone know if the F-250 V10, and the F-250 Powerstroke has the same front leaf springs? I have a 2000 F-250 Crew Cab, short bed, 5spd, V10, and I have the add-a-leaf's on it. My brother-in-law has a 2000 F-250 Extended-cab, short bed, 6spd, Powerstroke. I am getting rid of my F-250 to buy a F-250 or F-350 Powerstroke, and want to give him the add-a-leafs. However, it would be easier to just swap the whole leafs instead of just the add-a-leaf as a individual part. Also, he has 60K, and I only have 38K on mine, so if they are the same mine have less miles on them. Thanks for any information.

yes there the same unless you got the snow plow option

What is the difference between the springs that come on the plain super duty and the springs that are for towing?

The snow plow option would , logically, have to have much stronger springs as all that hardware for a snowplow is very heavy from what i understand. sk
