Hey people....
How can I find the exact build date of my 6.0 Superduty?
Left Valve cover says May '03, Ford build tag on 'B' pillar says 05/03....but how do I find the exact day??

Build Dates
If you want the build date of your truck, you need to run the VIN through OASIS.
The window sticker and door jamb sticker are not accurate.
The build date on the engine is accurate.

or if anybody can help, would be great, the reason i ask, is we are getting ready to purchase a new truck, and i would like to be positive when the thing was made. like jschira said, the door sticker isn't always accurate, so i just want to be positive.
if it is something that the dealer does, then that's cool, i just didn't know if it was something i could do though. thanks for any help!

OASIS is a FoMoCo thing.....tellall sort of information system on any Ford product using the vin. #. Any Ford dealer can do it, my Service writer pulled it right up for me. My 6.0 engine had the International Harvester sticker on the left (drivers) valve cover that said 05/07.....OASIS said my truck was built 05/12.
