I have a 2003 F250 7.3L. I put new injectors in my truck four months ago and all of a sudden, I have 2 cylinders not working correctly, making the truck to run really badly. I sent the 2 injectors from the bad cylinders back for warranty and they replaced both of the injectors but nothing was wrong. I put them in and the truck still runs badly. I have a new fuel filter, new ICP, new CPS and glow plug relay. Any ideas, I cannot drive the truck, it smokes white at idle, thanks.
I can unplug each injector at a time and cyclinder 5 does not change how the truck runs
Do you have a way to connect to the PCM and check data / pull codes?
Have you checked the wires coming from the 42 pin connector on the drivers side valve cover? They have been known to rub on the VC and cause issues. You can also ohm everything out from here to to make sure you have continuity through the wiring system
We used a SnapOn reader, my OBD2 Bluetooth reader and my superchips tuner (returned to stock). Ohm all of the injectors, put new uvch on and gaskets, checked fuses, and looked for damage wires
would not be the first time some one got a part bad out of stock. Do you have the old Gaskets and UVCH? Try sticking them back in and see what happens.
have you ohmed wiring from the IDM connecter? Checked that connector for corrosion? Checked the harness to the 42 pin connector, especially where it crosses / rubs the diver side valve cover to ensure no damage?
