Looking to see how and where the kick panel fuse mount mounts up. Last year the one in my '86 was kicked, breaking off the plastic ears that attached to the body and panel. I zip tied it up for a year and just now got around to getting new plastic ears. How and where do they mount to the fuse panel, and how and where do the mounts bolt to the firewall. Thanks everyone!
The fuse panel does not mount to the kick panel.
It has been over a year since I pulled my 2 trucks apart but want to say it is mounted to the fire wall to the left of the steering column up high so you will not hit it with your foot.
Did you remove the old broken tabs & bolts? If not that should point you to where it mounts.
Also the wiring will only let it move so far.

Broken tabs and bolts were removed, there's a lot of holes underneath there! Now that it's been zip tied for over a year, the wiring does not want to go back to its original spot.
LOL Well I tried
I would take pictures of mine but as said I took the wiring out over a year ago along with everything else in the cab for a rebuild.
Sorry

it should go back behind the clutch pedal assembly to the left of the steering column
I have a general idea of where it goes, like stated before, the wiring will only allow so much movement, however, an actual picture to show how it's mounted would be great. Like I said, there are a lot of screw holes down there and a lot of different combinations as to where the tabs line up etc.
