Dave F, You need an ID & PW to log in ?????

Osagebow, The 3 SOL, if you have them should be mounted to the left side of the valve cover.
IIRC my truck only had 2 of the 3 and nothing was hooked to them so when I get my truck back together they will not be installed.

Thanks guys for the diagrams and advice! Got her tubes all tied up and was able to walk the curb idle down to 600. This would have been a sure stall before. She had sputtered occasionally on shutdown , that seems fixed also.

I think that's the same sticker on my truck.

A search led me to your thread. Do you mind if a join the party a little? I'm hunting vacuum gremlins as well. If I don't have an ERG solenoid can I bypass EGR diaphragm directly to the carb? Is the carb port (#3 in the photo?) the higher one on passenger side of choke plate?
