I planning on adding an amp and sub. Where is the easiest place to tap into the speaker wires? I'm not wanting to tear the dash apart if at all possible.
I posted it in the other audio thread too. Looks like they beat RF and Kenwood to market on this.
Thank you Karl, I should have used one in my own truck and I may still end up doing it but Ive done 2 this week with pretty awesome results. Sure makes the job easier for sure.
If you were to go that route, you'd really be better off going with the RF DSR-1. Does the same thing, is $50 cheaper, and can be adjusted on the fly with BT. Only catch is, it's not out yet.

I haven't been real happy with the rockford 360-1-2-3 witch ever model they are up to, the Helix DSP pro processors with 10 channels is really clean, fairly simple to use and just works, thats the only processor I will sell and stand behind right now, If I do the Pac piece ill run RCA cables to the helix and then from there to the amps, right now I cut the outputs from the stock amp and ran them in to the helix speaker level inputs, to sum high and low together
The good thing on the 17's is the easy access to everything behind the seat. So, changing things in the future as they come out or as your needs change, is a lot easier!
