Yes, I thought I might be sticking my neck out to say the 2011 up would work. Thank you Larry for clearing that up. It's nice to have people that have the complete facts. Do you know if the 15' 16's are the same as a 2014?

Everything I have seen shows the 2013-2016 as the same radio systems for the 8" display versions.

Thank you Larry for clearing that up. I don't want to send anyone wrong info. I bought an A7 "latest " map card from Ebay so only have $55 tied up in the conversion. My truck does have the SD card slot under the compartment on the top of the dash.

Navigation add on isn't working for me. 2016 Lariat. I changed the digits in Forscan, saved the png file in the wallpaper section, did a master reset, and everything looked like it would work. Borrowed a navigation card from my daughter and it wouldn't recognize her card. It kept saying "Insert Nav SD card".
Hers is a 2014 fusion with a card labeled A4. Could this be the problem? Too old a card? Looking on ebay, they sell the same A4 card that says it can be used as a replacement for A5, A6, or A7.
Tried cycling the key a couple of times. Pulling and re-inserting. Even went for a little drive. Came back and fiddled with it and finally got "Navigation SD card fault. Please insert a valid SD card". The card does work in the kids car so it's not a bad card.
The only thing I didn't do from the linked thread was use the optional files since that link appears to be dead as I get a message the file is no longer available.

They will say anything on eBay to sell their products. Will it work? I can not say. I know my 2015 came with A5 card. You could order A7 card off eBay and see. If it doesn't work,, then give to daughter as it should work for her.
Average prices for A7 are typically around the $40 to $45 range (what I paid for two 5 months ago).

Hi Chris - Sorry to hear that. The navipatch.png needs to be clicked on as in preview. When I did that the screen flashed something like navigation unlocked. It is really a fast flash. I almost missed it. After the first time clicking on the png I did it couple more times as I had installed the extra files and it wasn't working as it says it will. Also I did install that extra file which I now see is not there. I think the A4 card should work as long as it is a Ford card not a copy.
OK found that file on a dropbox link. Probably shouldn't wait to long.

I found the navi update file I needed in the XDA thread toward the end. When I followed the instructions there, everything started working on the A4 card. Only problem now is my daughter won't let me keep her card. Guess that means I need to get my own.

That's great news Chris! I was going to buy the A7 card from Amazon for $63.00. When I went to order it was gone. It had magically gone up to $89.95. A few hours later back to $63. By then I had found an A7 on Ebay for $55 shipped. I have that one. One reason I was not to sure about buying on Ebay was the possibility of a fake. I just checked Amazon it's now $69.00 free shipping.

I'm scared of ebay too, although I will admit I've never been screwed over there yet. Mail isn't running tomorrow anyway, so I'll keep watching and see if it goes on sale somewhere. (Or snag my daughters card when she's not looking)

PancakeF150 - I also have a 2014 Diesel Super Duty. The Lariat version. The only way I know of to see if you can get the Nav. is to jump in and get started. Be sure you are on Sync 2 version 3.8 software to start with. There is a version 3.10 that as far as I know was never officially released. That version requires a different set of files to be installed.

We have Sync 2 and the revision of our truck's Sync 2 is 3.08.
The Sync 2 revision is not to be confused with Sync 3 wish is a totally different revision number.
