Introduction

Hey all, just wanted to do a quick introduction, and to show everyone the newest members of the family. First up is our 2017 F250 CCSB with about 5k on the odometer, traded in my 2011 F250 CCSB with about 110k.

Yesterday we picked up our first travel trailer. It's a 2017 Heartland Elkridge 30RLT. CouLdnt be happier with the two. Hoping to head out next weekend going somewhat local on our maiden voyage. We are located in South East Florida. Hope to chat with a lot of you and learn new things.

Thanks,

Rob

looks great. Isn't it amazing how the truck and trailer compliment each other's colors.

I went with the PullRite 16K SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch. seems to work pretty well. I do notice there is a clunk when breaking and accelerating from a stop. The RV dealer said that was normal, but seems excessive to me. The combo pulls well dispite this.

I had that same clunk when I had a Husky hitch. Went to B&W and the problem was solved.

Welcome! First things first, anything the RV dealer says is "normal" is not normal until verified here.

Truck and trailer look great.
