Question fuel pump inertia switch

retrofitting a 5.8 out of a '95 to a '52 F3...

is there anything special i need to know about this inertia valve? does orientation or placement matter, or can i tuck it away somewhere?

thanks.

mine came in a box full of intertwined wiring harnesses, so i have no idea where it was located originally, or in what orientation. any insight appreciated.
thanks.

Install with the button facing upwards. They were originally installed on the firewall in most applications. I have seen some on the passenger side kick panel. Don't think it is critical, but must be firmly mounted in the upright position.
