P263C Glow Plug Driver Performance

CEL came on in my 2013 6.7L with 74K miles a couple days ago. Pulled the code today and it was a P263C - Glow Plug Driver Performance code. I was wondering if anyone had seen this code before and knows a remedy.

Bumping this one, I had the same code come up today and I'm having trouble locating any quality information online.

Mine ended up clearing on its own after a few days. I pulled my 14k lb fifth wheel about 1,000 miles since with no issues. I would still like to know what caused it.

@archeat2 - thanks - I cleared mine to see if it re-appears but have the same curiosity.

@cappa - mine is bone stock 2014 F350 with 64k miles

Ok not sure then. I left the nox modules on my truck when I deleted and got some ice built up in the one plug, the only one I didn't cover up real good due to location. It popped fuse #36 under the hood and my glow plugs weren't working. Pulled the module and replaced the fuse and they worked again.

No I have not, mine will come and go every now and then but I have not identified the root cause yet. I'm going to order a glow plug controller soon just to throw a part at it to see if it resolves.

archeat2, where did you get the P263C was Glow Plug Driver Performance information?

That code isn't listed here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ble-codes.html and my reader just lists it as 'powertrain'.
