What do you use to remove snow that does not scratch the paint?

I have had my truck for two weeks and I am thrilled so far. They are forecasting snow for Friday and I would like to know what people use to remove snow from their trucks that will not scratch the water based paint? I never worried about it with my 2002 F250 but not sure about the paint on the 2017 F350 Lariat, especially with the moon roof!

Lots of Southwest Sunshine. We didn't get any snow this year. No help to you, sorry. I just don't have that problem.

A garage. Sorry I could not help myself. Bad. This will be a good question as I just use the snow brush on the ice scrappers if I have a vehicle outside.

This is what I have seen being used at all 3 of my local dealerships.

I use a nice soft car wash brush on a long broom handle.

Interesting advise.

You could idle your truck in the drive way until the snow melts from the windshield then drive it really fast down the alleys until snow clears off.

Pretty much any brush with a feathered end I would think is fine. If it feels fine on my skin then not bothered. I will say that a long brush is good because I have banged my truck many a times unintentionally when the brush is short and I am trying to reach out.

I use one very similar to this that I found at Lowe's. Works great for pulling and pushing the snow off the windshield, cab, and tonneau cover.

Regardless of what you use, if there is dirt on the paint and you slide heavy snow across it, scratches will occur. Keep it clean with a decent coat of wax so the snow can slide off without scratching.

I use a leaf blower. My shop vac converts to a blower and works great on the light to medium weighted snow just not the real heavy snow

If you can a leaf blower is the safest. Dealerships use leaf blowers for light snow. (no ice)
