I tried looking this up on here, but couldn't find anything. Has anyone had luck with other Coil brands other than Motorcraft. I see a few others listed on Rock Auto. Just wondering what any ones experience was.
Thanks
Denso is the OEM for Motorcraft. You can usually buy the Denso COPs from Rockauto for a lower price than for the Motorcraft COPS.
FWIW, I have no problem buying and using the $9 COPS from Rockauto. I've got several of the really cheap ones (Ultra-Power FD503) in my V10 that have been there for almost 4 years already with zero issues. However, this is one of those "to each their own" situations. What I risk I accept to assume will be different from that which someone else will accept. Go with whatever your individual capabilities will support.
Of course, I'm reminded that the coils that are failing are also Motorcraft if they're original....
