I have a 2002 F350 Super Duty v10 what type of axles might I have on my truck

 

Door sticker should tell you

 

If you're asking specifically for the axles, I don't know but if you're asking about the differentials, as previously stated, you door sticker will tell you, but from what I understand, most common, was a 10.25 sterling rear diff and a dana 50 / 60 front diff. most common gearing was 3:73 ratio, this is what dealer told me according to what I have on my truck.

 

Your truck came equipped with a Dana 50 in the front and a 10.5 sterling in the rear. The V10 also came with 4.30 gearing

 

Diesels came with 3.73

 

That's how bad the sticker is

 

There will be a tag attached to one of the bolts that hold the diff covers on. It should have the info you need. Post it here and someone will decode it for you.

 

Just because a truck has the v10 doesn't mean it automatically comes with 4.30's 4.30 and 4.10 gears they were optional on either gas motor
That' the worst one I've ever seen that was still there though it kinda looks like it says c1 which would be 3.73 limited slip . 02 was a changeover year from the dana 50 to the dana 60 so depending on when it was built the dana 50 will have 229 on the sticker on the axle tube and cast into the axle as well the dana 60 will be 248 if you just want to know what gears you have enter your vin here Vehicle Lookup
or find a tag under the truck rear end is sterling 10.5

According to ford it has 3.73's that doesn't mean some one hasn't been in there and changed them but it's not that likely if you tell us what your rpm at a speed like 70mph we can tell you what years you have your going to have to look at the front axle to see if it's a Dana 50 or 60 with what I posted above
