Stupid question, wondering what color white to paint my rims
1969 F250 4X4
I'm going back with a tall, skinny, mud/snow lug tire. Probably a 900X16. I'd like to know what color white ( there's a ton of white colors) to paint/powder coat the rims? Bright white? Off white? Antique white ? I figured y'all would have an opinion
Thanks!
Just throwin' this out there, who says they have to be white? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And that be you. I say paint them body color, gray, or the white of your choice. Which ever color YOU'D like to be next to your hub caps and the paint on the truck.
IMHO I'd paint them body color. I'm prolly older than you but if you added more white via the wheels the truck would remind me of the light blue polyester Men's shirt with white collar and cuffs from the 70's Disco era.
As far as I know, Wimbledon White was a body color. Some information suggests painted wheels, bumpers and grilles were Corinthian White while some suggests they were Colonial White. Not sure what's actually correct.
