Hello, I recently purchased this 1995 f150 4x4 with the 351, upon trailering it home I found out that it shifts hard and the speedo doesn't work OD light blinking. Googled my issue and found out it's the Vss on the rear diff. I climbed under the truck and found out it's not even connected.... cannot find a wiring harness only some spliced wires, I think that may be the wire but not entirely sure....
open up the loom if I am remembering correctly you are looking for a black and a black with white striped wire they go to the speed sensor.Odds are they are in the loom still just have been hacked,I will try to get more info for ya later today. If you need it I may have the connector and wiring in a parts truck I can look. If I have it you are welcome to it.
oops my memory was wrong, lol. But the wiring will most likeley still be in the loom further forward it is doubtful anyone cut it out, most likely broke close to rearend and cobbled up. Keep going forward in the loom I bet you will find them and can then make repairs easily.
