Raven Black paint code?
I bought a good condition spare tire wheel yesterday but I need to paint it before I mount the tire. Was thinking about having the paint store mix a rattle can of Raven Black. Has anyone else had Raven Black mixed and know the paint code?

Ford's paint code for Raven Black is M-1724. But everything I've ever been told is that "black is black". Variations will exist in amount of gloss, but not in color. A few years ago I bought some modern polyurethane gloss black and had a set of my Budds painted. Hated it. Too shiny, then ended up blasting it off. Have since had sets powder coated less shiny and am satisfied. Have also used rattle can Rustoleum on some. What would K-H have done? Stu

I never have bought paint in a packaged rattle can before...had good luck with these however: Preval Sprayer (2-Pack)-0225 - The Home Depot__
