Flathead 239 radiator

i thought I scored a nice condition original 239 4 row heavy duty radiator but upon inspection it has no 8rt stamping or ford markings. It does have the traditional X and the original petcock that still works. Thoughts on if it was Ford it would be stamped? I think Chuck just bought some NOS radiators in the Ford box not stamped but I could be imagining that. It came out of an F5.

Also the overflow is different than I would have expected, my original 226 has a hard pipe, thoughts on that?

Regardless I think it will work on the test stand and I am going to see what the radiator shop says about whether it will clean up or needs a new core. Overall it looks in good shape both inside and out.

Check the dimensions of the top pipes. I have a similar one that came out of a 46 truck that is identical to the 8BA rad with the exception of larger pipes in the top tank.

I've never seen that filler with a small hole baffle before. Any evidence it's been modified? The metal tube should go down over the side - possible it was shortened?

Interesting for sure.
