Ranch Hand Summit
Well I was able to get a buddy and my dad last weekend to help install the Ranch Hand Summit bumper on my truck. I love the looks of the bumper, BUT, the brackets that mount to the frame had some issues. The holes that were drilled into the brackets were almost all off by a few 1/16th's or so. We were still able to get the bolts through and get the bumper mounted. The problem with the holes not lining up so well between the frame and brackets is that there really wasn't any room for adjustment once the bumper was mounted. We could get it to adjust up/down just fine, but front to back there was no adjustment. So it currently tilts down at the front. I'm picky so it will be fixed, just waiting on a response from bumpersuperstore.com, who contacted Ranch Hand about the issues. Hopefully they just send out new brackets to me and have me send the old ones back for inspection. I am VERY impressed with the overall quality of this bumper, I just hope they resolve the issue for me so I can continue to be happy with their product. Also, last night I wired up the rigid amber fogs and love the look! Eventually all of the amber bulbs will be switched to led amber.
