Speedo calibration
Has anyone used Forscan to change from the stock 275/65-20 to 295/65-20 yet? I've read some mixed results in that you can go up a little in Forscan without throwing a code but also that 275 was the largest available.
I know it's not much change, but I'd still like to get it as accurate as possible. Looks to me like the new setting would be 0A94 and if nobody's tried it, I will. Was just wanting to save myself some wasted time if it throws a code. Thanks!
Edit: If anyone else is considering this, I did it and it works fine. Speedo is dead on with GPS at 75mph and no codes or anything. I'm running Nitto Trail Grappler 295/65-20 and everything else is stock.
Thanks for this info!!! I had the stock 275/65R20's on my platinum and just used your 0A94 code on my truck. This bump from 34.1" to 35.1" helped enough that I don't think I'll bother buying the hypertech now. I have 37" Ridge Grapplers and the GPS was dead on to the digital speedo up to 45mph. I'm sure it will be a little off when I get on the highway at 70+ mph, but this is enough for me to live with! FYI...no codes here either (although I've only just driven to work about 10 miles, ha). Thanks again!
