I'm looking to buy a set of 17x9 with a zero offset and run 285/70/17 tires. My truck is a 2012 4x4 no lift 6.2 extend cab. Does any one know if that set up would work without Clarence issues? If you have a similar set up pics would be awesome. Thanks
Yes, about a 1/2". I think the 295's would have looked better, but I can say even going to the 285's ate into the mpgs with my 3.73's. I will also add I wasn't happy with the "0" offset, as I thought it flung way to much crud on my truck, including rocks. It was my primary reason for selling them in turn for some stock 18's.
Will do. It might be a little bit trying to figure out why the truck pulls to the right. Two sets of tires same issue. Alignment good. Checked rotors with a temp gun the left rotor a bit warmer but that would be a left pull one would think. I don't hear noise coming from the wheel bearing but one could be bad I suppose.
Cool, they will look good. My long gravel driveway is horrible for flinging rocks. Post a pic when you get her dressed up!
Well choose the wheels. 17x9 with 0 offset. Now have to decide on tires. Hope to have wheels delivered by end of the week. Will post pics up as soon as they are on.
How deep is the lip on those wheels? I am thinking of getting the same wheel in a 20 inch, but the same offset or a -12 offset. Any way I could get some really detailed pics of the wheels from different angles and close up?
Those look great.
I have the same year truck, same color but 4 door. Yours looks lower than mine for some reason.
I have the 2" blocks in the rear and my *** is sagging a bit.
