Where can i find

A service kit for the locking hubs?
I lubed the front wheel bearing today with the needle adapter and grease gun. I cleaned the hubs, but the front seal in both hubs came out in pieces. That seems o be why they were so hard to turn. I need that front seal.

Hublock O-rings For The Ford Diesel 7.3 Autolock Hubs

If your talking about the diaphragm in the bottom I don't know if it's replaceable.

I think that is the wrong one. It's the outer seal for the hub. I'm looking for the one that seals the cap that you turn to lock or unlock the hubs.

Read through this and see if you see it. If it's the diaphragm you may be looking at new hubs.

That seems to be on Auto-lock hubs.
It does not show the seal in the end cap.
Thanks for trying!

Autolock Hub Ring Clips (2) and o-rings (2) For the Ford 7.3 Diesel Front Hubs

I am pretty sure the auto lock and manual hubs use the same outer 0-ring and retaining ring.

This o-ring is not gong to make your hub turn freely though. You need to clean out and lube the dial. Take a look at guzzles write up on the procedure, it if for auto lock hubs so yours will be much easier and straight forward and a lot less parts. To disassemble the hub is one retaking ring and one snap ring.

I just did mine (manual hubs) Saturday because my wife has been using my truck and I hadn't realized how stiff they had become. They turn like a hot knife through warm butter now.

I just greased what I believe are Warn manual hubs on mine last week. I took that **** apart and found no evidence of a seal there so I don't know what stops water from getting in there. I went to my local hydraulic shop and they gave me two O-rings for $1.00.

Its the " dial" seal that I'm looking for.
When I took it apart it was stuck, and seal came out in pieces on both of them.
Mark, do you know the PN of those seals?
Most O-rings are A 568-XX. I do not believe the original seal were O-rings.
But an O-ring should work. Water had gotten into one of my hubs. It was not to bad, but it's been pretty dam dry in California the last few years.
The outer O-ring is easy to find.

Thanks

I do not know any part numbers. I am blessed with several outlets for O-rings in my area and I just go in with the old O-ring and/or the part and get fitted up. When heat is involved it is essential to get Viton. Otherwise, as in this case, Butyl is acceptable. ACE hardware would probably have something that would work here.

I think you're gonna find that is The diaphragm in the end cap, and it is not field replaceable, they don't sell the part. And dorman doesn't even sell one. Time to buy a replacement auto hub....Dorman DOES sell one of those....

Exactly.... That's funny, I haven't heard that term since High School....Why sell you an O-ring when I can hit you for a Hub.
