I don't think they had to shim the bumper at all but there's still a bit of rubbing I need to address. I've had amp steps on previous trucks and these do a great job. I'll definitely be keeping them.

30" to the bottom of the door. With the factory power steps it's not bad at all getting in.

They ordered the kit without shocks then ordered the shocks from bds I believe. Truck is right about 88".

Hey Spolk - I ordered a truck just like yours. Do you mind telling me everything you installed on your truck from the lift to the wheels? Manufacturer and all?

I hope you don't mind but I am pretty much going to copy your truck man. I just love it.

What did this setup cost you roughly?

And will your wheels & tires work if I only did a 4" fab tech lift?

Thanks

Are the factory amp steps wide enough or narrow? When standing on them compared to after market? Would you say they come down the same drop length as aftermarket setup?

Not an xl setup but normal amp steps diff questions n than what I posted above. Do you have any pics of how much they stick out on the side

Mxsledder, what kind of dual steering stabilizer did you install there? And do you have a part number for it?

it's the BDS fox 2.0 steering stabilizer kit and all the shocks have a BDS logo on them so I'm sure they came from BDS.

Ok, but do you have any part numbers for the shocks. BDS doesn't make a 6" lift for 2017's yet. And from what i found, 2016 is different from 2017 sizes. Also fox shocks haven't made a shock for 6" lifted 2017's yet with the proper valving, from what i can find. So the question i guess is, are those rear shocks from a 2016 f350 with a 8" lift? Cause those seem like the proper measurements for a 2017 with a 6" lift. I'm having a hard time finding the proper answer and just thought maybe the guys that have a 6" lift would know.
