I got one from Harbor Failure, I think it was ~$200 but it works fairly well and is fairly easy to use.
HF has two versions. I got the cheaper one, listed for only $69 dollars. Throw in a 20% off coupon, and it was quite the bargain. I'm very pleased with it.
I use a borescope/endoscope I got from China. It's great! 6mm cam on the end of a wire that I plug into my Android phone. $15. Waterproof. With a light. It will fit through a spark-plug hole.

Has anybody found one that will work with an iPhone? All the ones I looked at would only work with an Android with OTG. I only have an iPhone and an Amazon Fire (non-OTG) tablet.
The IOS versions all used a WiFi interface to talk to the iPhone. That drives up the cost, unfortunately, and adds complexity. I ended up going with the HF cheap version as the cost was now comparable.
The other thing was most of the endoscopes were too long, usually around 15'. That might be handy for construction work or similar, but would probably just get in the way for automotive use.
I wanted one to work with an iPhone. I thought about one that connected via USB to Android but my Android phone that I just retired was too old to work with an OTG cable. Though I guess I could have tried rooting it and getting it to work.
It does have a long cable but I just left most of it coiled up. It worked pretty well, but I need to come up with some sort of holder for my phone for cases like I was using it for, lying under my truch looking in the bell housing at my clutch.
Thanks for the reply's. I got a Teslong #NTS150RS.3.5 from Amazon. $114.00 delivered next day. Has 5 MM camera with accy. Camera lead is 37" long. You can down load snap shot or video. Comes in very sturdy case.
Thanks Rodger
