Question is:: do these work as well and safe as the chain draw bars? Thanks for the help.[/i]
Probably safer and way easier as you use a ratchet to tighten them up, I use a torque wrench as it is longer and more leverage.
Website rates the material at something like 6000 lbs, so it's not breaking.
Mine are the bolt on type (my preference) and easy to remove and store when not using them.

Best way is to get whatever you're going to get and set it up for your rig. Measure the distance between the bars and the frame.
Remove the chains from the bars, install the Straptek system, tighten them back up to your measurements from before.
Either mark the straps or just measure down the side from the mechanism to the bar and use that each time you set up.

That was my plan, but have you noticed any stretch on the straps that had to be compensated for?

curt wdh products

I just received my Curt 17063 wdh hitch that came with my new tt. It is rates at 1400tw and 14k trailer weight. I have not seen anything on Curt products on here, are they ok or not? Also wondering if the straptek kit will work with it and be safe and strong enough?

I have no experience with Curt wdh products.

I have one of their receivers as I upgraded the stock one to their 15410 Class 5 HD+ setup. Seemed the weaker link back there to me.

Yours looks like it could do the job just fine and I'm sure there are plenty on the road right now. Numbers match up to your setup well.

Hopefully some real knowledge will show up. There are definitely lots of more expensive ones out there.

Looks like the hooks on the Straptek would fit just like it does on the Blue Ox ones I have.
