Hey everyone, I just texted back & forth with Toreador Diesel this morning. I wanted to apologize for disappearing the last 5 months. It usually gets very busy during harvest helping by brother-in-law, but then after Thanksgiving things tend to slow down and I get more time to spend on FTE......
I've learned so much from the folks here on FTE an got a lot of help with my 7.3L's over the years, I didn't want to be one of those that disappears.
Life just has not slowed down for me, all is good and going well - just every time I turn around it's 11 pm and I still didn't get everything done....
It was nice having that brief text session not long ago, but I have been buried with boat shopping over here... so I totally get the busy thing. I'm on my way to a sea trial today, cashier's check in hand.

Don't feel bad I was silent for a full year, job change what are you going to do
Yes, the oil temps came down a little but I still think the coolant is to hot. The scan gauge is still reading 229 ECT when pulling that big trailer up the hills. He went with PHP tunes and they told him to run, I believe the 40 FICM tune with his tow tune. He really likes the power but egt's hit 1200 up hills also. We have some tall hills here, and they go down quickly when level again. But climbing, it takes a while and don't go above 1200, so I guess he's good. I would like lower temps.
