Torque Pro Speedometer
Does anybody know how to get a PID or change the current one on the Torque Pro app to read 2 MPH's more than what it currently reads?
My mine off by that much, and I couldn't find anything on the internet that talks about how to change it.
I know ScanGauge 2 lets you increase the Speed for the PID.

I have DigiHUD on my phone, and its more accurate.
Guess I will just have to add 2 MPH mentally.
I know it doesn't sound that bad, but I have a slight case of OCD.

The Torque Pro says I am going slower than my speedo, and my speedo is says I am going slower than GPS.
Plus, I have larger than stock tires.
And I would like to have my Torque Pro report that I am going the speed of what radar reads, since that is what is used by the police.
I just want to know if there is a way to change it with the Torque Pro. Like I can do with my ScanGauge2

The default speedometer display in the Torque app displays info from the OBD2 port based on what is reported through vehicle sensors.
Are you sure you are looking at the GPS speedometer in the Torque app? Because you have to specifically add that display. I am skeptical of two different apps on the same Android device showing different GPS speed readings, because it is the external GPS system calculating vehicle speed, based on the device GPS sensor which is independent of vehicle sensors.
Either app will display the speed value that the GPS system reports.

With the same Google account, you can put all your apps on each device without having to buy them again.
Sounds like the Samsung has a more accurate GPS sensor.

And to answer your original question, have you adjusted the vehicle profile?
Under advanced profile settings there is one for "OBD speed multiplier". I am not sure exactly how to math it for your application but to make it read slower, I believe you would use a number less than 1 such as .95, or tinker with it and see what it does.
Found on the Torque forum where it says your speed factor # to enter is simply the measured speed divided by the displayed speed.
Or GPS divided by speedometer to do what you want it to do and then enter that into the vehicle profile advanced setting.
I also just noticed that according to Torque Pro my car shows the OBD speed is different than the speedometer display, but the speedometer is almost exactly correct by GPS. It has the original tire size and is all original.

Well, I will post this update to this thread in case someone else wants to change their speed on the torque pro app, and we all hate unfinished threads.
The Torque Pro ECU Speed was under the GPS speed by 2mph.
I went into the vehicle settings, and changed the speed value to 1.03
It is now reading what the GPS says. Finally accurate.
