Need engine help
OK guys I need help. Anyone a 4.6 specialist. I tried the 4.6 forum but those guys aren't real friendly. I got a few looks but no replies. I was pretty surprised. I thought some one would say something.
Kenny I know that this isn't exactly 48 - 60 Ford truck but it is related. I have to fix the 4.6 so I can fix my broke air compressor so I can sand blast my 57 frame.
OK here is the problem.
I have a 95 4.6 that needs replacing BUT it isn't in a truck. It is in my Crown Vic. I have found a 96 and a 93. The book says I need a 95 only. My Ford parts man has been very helpful but we still have some doubts. The 93 has different exhaust manifolds and the 96 has a different timing chain cover. PLEASE HELP. I have to get my car back on the road so I can work on my 57F100.

See there I knew it. I got a response and a good one too. Thanks Mr Four Speed. I had that site in my favorites almost on top of the FTE link. I don't know how I didn't think about it but I am now getting some help on the Crown Vic forum.
