I just ordered the Bakflip4 Mx and received a $50 instant rebate with free shipping direct from Bak, now through 17 Mar. It looks like the rebate is available from all retailers. Hope the install is as easy as it looks and that is ends up being awesome! Persuaded mostly by reviews on here.
When i ordered my BAK revolver X2 hard roller I was chatting with the sales rep asking which of their products has the upgraded rear seal, like the MX4 does. They told me the X2 now has the new seal and asked if i wanted to buy through them. I said no "autoanything.com" has a better deal, he priced matched their site and I got about 16% off. So hit them up in chat or call. It could be worth the extra 10 minutes chatting with them.
As a heads up, Amazon has the Bakflip MX4 for the short bed for $795.11 and it looks like an Amazon purchase still qualifies for the rebate. http://a.co/9hwZGO0
I just bought a 2017 F250 which replaced my f150. I had an MX4 on the f150 which I was very happy with. I ordered an MX4 for my F250 while I was finishing paperwork on my truck at the dealer and had it in 2 days. You may want to check with truck alterations. Best price around and significantly lower than what people are saying above. You can email them at sales@truckalterations.com I'm not affiliated with them other than being a happy customer twice now.
I had an MX4 for my F150 and bought one for my new F250. I got it from Truck Alterations for significantly less that what people are saying. Email them for the best price. They don't even list the MX4 on their website, but they have it. I ordered mine Wednesday night and had it Friday.
I'm not affiliated with them other than being a very happy customer.
Not to pollute the thread, but those of you considering the MX4, may look at the Bak VP as well. It is the same style, as far as I am aware, but without the visible seams. It is still a hard cover all the way across, with the same folding sections but a smooth vinyl appearance.
Edit - I gather from additional reading the MX4 is a bit more durable/rugged with a 400 pound weight limit, I think my VP is only something like 200. I guess it comes down to appearance preference.
I had one on my 150, and just installed this on my 250 last night. Install is pretty easy.

The 400 lb. weigh limit was the main reason I chose the MX4. I had been putting the BakFlip F1 on my trucks but decided to try an MX4 that's being installed tomorrow.
