'85 F250 with Dealers Diesel reman, 50,000 miles on engine, 160,000-ish? miles on truck. I have no idea if the exhaust manifolds are original, or part of the reman. Passenger side has a crack between runners 3 and 5, almost all the way around. Sorry, I don't have pics; I'm throwing some Permatex exhaust putty goop on it as a stop-gap. Told myself to take pics before the application, but forgot.... It's not as bad as this one - https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ng-broken.html - but it's in the same spot.
Can't seem to find an OEM manifold E3TZ-9430-A anywhere. Coming up discontinued on all the usual dealer sites. I see Dorman and ATP make aftermarket versions. I'm just fishing for info on folks' experience with these options. There's a thread from September 2016 about a possible fitment issue with the Dorman manifold, but it was inconclusive. No luck at the U-Haul eBay store either.
^^^^^ Maybe by eBay, shipped from the south. Around here, there's nothing in the junkyards more than half this truck's age. And it'd be just as rusted anyway, or worse. Question is, would an eBay junkyard remove an exhaust manifold to ship it, or would they only sell the complete engine manifolds included. I'll give it a whirl, anyway.
