TC introduction?

I've noticed that the TC is not advertised in my local newspapers. And when I see it on the road it is most often in commercial use. One of the reasons I purchased the TC was its history as a utility vehicle. I wonder if Ford is deliberately introducing the vehicle as a reliable commercial vehicle, one likely to have some strength and longevity??

Ford built it to "built ford tough" standards, and yes, that's a real thing! Doors get tested heavier, suspension gets more testing etc. It's simply not a popular retail unit as the market isn't interested in vans, even though they are so much more useful than CUVs. Other Ford models you'll rarely see advertised? The Taurus! Folks don't even know Ford makes them, and I'd take one over a Fusion any day of the week. I do like a big car though (yet own a Fiesta...) I should have leased a Taurus....
