Fuel tank selector switch

Good afternoon everyone. I just changed the selector switch on the dash, Sometimes when I use the selector switch, the fuse blows. Does anyone have an idea? That high dollar valve under my truck I just changed with the oem part. I'm sorta at a loss here. I dug as far in as could be hunting a chafe, hadn't found anything yet. Any ideas??

That fuse also protects the air conditioner clutch circuit. Maybe that wire's insolation has a bad spot in it.
