One thread says the best way to find out the Build Date is to go to your dealer..
Update as of 2/19: I use three websites. COTUS, ETIS and the Window Sticker website. All three work. COTUS works the best. My window sticker has a date of 2/8 in the gray section. My truck has a build date of 2/16. The date on the bottom of the sticker changed several times.

Reason: Updated with actual dates
Ok, if things hold true, in ETIS in about 2 days you will get a build date of 2/13 or 2/14. That is the actual build date. In theory the build started on 2/13 from what I have been able to gather. As others have said it takes about 23 hrs to go through a build...
The bottom number on my window sticker shows 02 07 17 and still nothing in cotus. It does show up in Etis but no build date listed yet and I've been given a delivery date of 3/11 - 3/17. The very bottom number under the green border I believe is the date your looking at it (today). I assume the 2/7 date is inaccurate.
Etis just hasn't updated yet because your truck isn't built yet. The 30.11.0002 you see there is a placeholder that shows up until your real date populates. There are two dates on your window sticker if you look closely. There is one at the bottom under the words special order in a grey box. Then there is another at the VERY bottom in the white margin. The one in the grey box is the date the sticker was generated. The one at the very bottom will likely be a day later. This does not mean your truck is built yet. When your truck is built the date in grey will stay the same and the date on the bottom in the white margin will change to your actual build date. A day or two later, Etis will update the placeholder date to match or be within a day of a match to the number at the very bottom.

If the 02 07 17 is the date in the gray area below where it says special order that is most likely when your windo sticker was generated. There should be another date in the white below the green line. That will update in the next couple days and that is, I believe, when the unit goes into production. Probably 2/14 or 2/15. A few days after that ETIS will populate and it should be the same as the updated date in while on the sticker or a day or so off.
That's what happened. The date in white went from 2/13/2017 to 2/15/2017, so my truck is being made as we chat! Called my dealer yesterday and asked when the truck was being delivered. He said it should be here around March 13th. Did say could be later or earlier.
My window sticker says (under special order) 02 03 17. But confirmed by my dealer, my truck was built 2.11.17
So a week after the sticker date comes the build.
Now that you know when it was actually built, what does the date on the very bottom of your sticker (under the border) say? Does it match up with 2.11.17?

Under the border it says today's date and is printed exactly as: 02/15/17
So I'm thinking this date is just the date the invoice was printed off, I could be wrong but matches my situation as my dealer just did print this and give it to me today.

Truck was built back on 2.11.17 as mentioned
Weird. Mine has stayed on 2/13/17 at the very bottom and not the current date. Etis still has a place holder and no date.
I believe the date in white changes as events happen. Mine originally said 2/1 which is when my WS was available to view. Then it went to 2/7 when it was built and today went to 2/15 and dealer said today that it was on a train and in transit. Now, if tomorrow or the next day does not update to 2./16 or 2/17 then this assumption may have merit.
