Bleeding break problem
Hi all,
2001 Ford f350. I had to replace all 4 calipers and the master cylinder.
I did not bench bleed the master.
After bleeding all four calipers, the pedal still goes to the floor, and even if I pump them I cant build up any pressure.
I have bled brakes before and know to start at rr then lr, rf and lf.
Should I remove the master and bench bleed?
Any suggestion would be great as I am stumped.

Did you try bleeding them using a tube into a container like it was posted on your other thread? If you did and it did not work, then take off 1 of the brake lines going into your master and push the pedal (holding a rag over hole so fluid does not spray all over) and see if the master is pushing fluid.

Yes. I have had this problem before and have solved it by always bench bleeding the master.
Also, and sorry if you find this insulting, but people have made this mistake before, the caliper bleed screws need to be on the top. If they are on the bottom, you have then on the wrong side.

I bleed the master cylinder after its installed with a little NAPA kit I bought in 92. It has different sized plugs that a length of tubing fits on and a clip holds each tube going into the front and rear chambers

Holy smokes! Dont worry about insulting me! I have the rear calipers on backwards! Seriously thank you.

OK no problem I swapped them out just in case, now I just need someone to help me bleed again, but I am sure that was the issue, thanks to all again!
