How to get all doors to unlock when put in park?
Just as the title reads. Only drivers door unlocks when I put truck in park. I'll hop out and go to drop tailgate and it's locked. Or I'll go to get something out of back seat, door locked. I'm always having to go back and hit the unlock button, so annoying. How do I change this setting? Thanks.

You can unlock all doors by physically hitting an unlock button on either the fob or on your door, but putting it in park won't. Maybe there's a way to have it reprogrammed or something. I can't imagine it's a child safety thing either. I was able to change this same setting in my wife's Kia minivan

Auto lock/unlock is an option that is available on the XLT value package and above (I think, don't quote me on this). Trucks below this trim level must be unlocked manually via the button on the door or the key fob while trucks above this trim level should be configurable via the dash.

I think you are missing his question. When he puts the truck in park, it unlocks the front doors only. He is asking if it can be programmed to unlock front AND rear doors when put into park.

No way to have it in park unlock all doors. I think Ford thought this was smart. But what can happen is when you turn the vehicle off or in accessory and in park, all of the doors will unlock ONLY after you open the driver door. It is on pg 67 in the owners manual. The one feature on this truck that I find frustrating. Especially those times when you just need to put it in park while running and jump out and get something out of the tailgate/bed or backseat.

That's how I want it. Only drivers door to unlock. If I want to unlock all doors just hit the unlock button a second time on the fob or when using the key pad punch in your code then after drivers door unlocks hit #4 and all other doors unlock. I don't want to be in a area and go to my truck unlock it and someone unknown to me jumps in the opposite side.

This is a very minor gripe. It's also not a '17 SD thing, my other Ford trucks did the same thing.
