How to get all doors to unlock when put in park?

Just as the title reads. Only drivers door unlocks when I put truck in park. I'll hop out and go to drop tailgate and it's locked. Or I'll go to get something out of back seat, door locked. I'm always having to go back and hit the unlock button, so annoying. How do I change this setting? Thanks.

Go to your setting page. You have to be stopped to access this page and change different settings.

I've looked. I haven't found a setting to change the door locks to unlock all doors.

My '17 does it. My '14 F150 did it. My guys' '06 F150 does it too. I think Ford just has a long-standing aversion to unlocking doors when the rig is in park

I thought under key setting you can change it to unlock all doors when you hit the unlock button? Can you set it to not auto lock when you get in?

I have not had my 2017 long enough to play with that but know my 08 I just set it to not lock doors when in drive.

When I hit unlock button it unlocks all doors. This is my first ford. Previous trucks i could set all doors to unlock when put in park. I'd assume this would be possible on a 2017 ford.

You can unlock all doors by physically hitting an unlock button on either the fob or on your door, but putting it in park won't. Maybe there's a way to have it reprogrammed or something. I can't imagine it's a child safety thing either. I was able to change this same setting in my wife's Kia minivan

Auto lock/unlock is an option that is available on the XLT value package and above (I think, don't quote me on this). Trucks below this trim level must be unlocked manually via the button on the door or the key fob while trucks above this trim level should be configurable via the dash.

I have a Latiat ultimate. If there's a way for ALL 4 doors to unlock when I put the truck in park, please let me know. I feel like I've looked through all the settings in my dash and in my manual and haven't found anything. It auto unlocks my driver door, but I have to physically hit the unlock button to get in the back seat if the truck is still running/in park

I think you are missing his question. When he puts the truck in park, it unlocks the front doors only. He is asking if it can be programmed to unlock front AND rear doors when put into park.

No way to have it in park unlock all doors. I think Ford thought this was smart. But what can happen is when you turn the vehicle off or in accessory and in park, all of the doors will unlock ONLY after you open the driver door. It is on pg 67 in the owners manual. The one feature on this truck that I find frustrating. Especially those times when you just need to put it in park while running and jump out and get something out of the tailgate/bed or backseat.

That's how I want it. Only drivers door to unlock. If I want to unlock all doors just hit the unlock button a second time on the fob or when using the key pad punch in your code then after drivers door unlocks hit #4 and all other doors unlock. I don't want to be in a area and go to my truck unlock it and someone unknown to me jumps in the opposite side.

I think it's fantastic that it functions the way you like it. I just wish there was the option to have it unlock all 4 when putting it in park. When my son or daughter (2 years old) drop something between the door and the seat in a parking lot when I'm waiting for my wife, or when I hop out at the office to grab something from the lobby to pop in my back seat, I just wish I didn't also have to unlock all the doors to do this.

This is a very minor gripe. It's also not a '17 SD thing, my other Ford trucks did the same thing.
