Number 6 COP

The 7 MM bolts for number 6 is spinning in place when I tried to remove it from COP number 6. I tried tightened it before trying to remove it. Is there any trick to get it off?

Get a pick or screwdriver under the ear of the coil so you can pry and try to back the bolt out.

JKNW is correct.

There is a threaded insert that is supposed to stay in the cast boss, sometimes, it comes loose. Prying up on the bottom of the insert can help keep it in position so that the COp hold down screw can be removed.

If this doesn't work, the only alternative is to drill out the offending screw, a PITA by itself.

Fuel pressure regulator. As was stated earlier pry up on the cop and see if the screw will come out. Either #6 or #7 sits under the fuel pressure regulator and can be a real PITA. To get that screw in and out.

Yup I agree. If you have a swear jar get it out, cause your going to fill it up somewhat, might be enough in there after to pay for a pack of 12 cold ones after your done

I ended up replacing all except for number 6. Stuck bolt, so I left the old one in.
